Guided Trip Rates

  • Full Day (8hrs) - $500

    Full day trips are 8 hours and offer the ability to experience more time on the water. Whether you are an experienced angler wanting to chase fish all day or re new to fly fishing and want to spend extra time perfecting your cast, full days are a great options.

    Lunch is provided on all full day trips

  • 3/4 Day (6hrs) - $400

    Six hours of fishing on the wild and scenic rivers of Central Minnesota. These trips start at different times depending on conditions, bite windows, or customers’ schedule. Come spend a day fly fishing for smallmouth or musky and have some time to spare.

  • Half Day (4hrs) - $300

    The same northwoods experience, in half the time. Half day trips are 4 hours and are a great way to enjoy a morning, afternoon, or evening on the water. This is a good trip if your schedule only allows for a short amount of time on the water.

  • Rates are for 2 Anglers (more will require additional booking)

  • $100 Deposit Per Day is due at time of booking

  • Deposits are NON-Refundable within 30 days of your trip

Trip Info

WHERE TO MEET

Fishing locations are determined based on the weather and fishing conditions and can change at the last minute. I will contact all guests the week prior to their trip and inform you on a meeting time and location.

WHAT TO BRING

MN Fishing License*, Sunscreen, hat, polarized sunglasses, camera, rain gear, jacket, personal tackle if preferred. *Alcoholic beverages must be brought by customers*

INCLUDED IN YOUR TRIP

G3 Jet Boat or Flycraft raft, lunch (full day trip only), non-alcoholic beverages, water, Scott Fly Rod outfits, custom flies, leaders, digital camera for photographs, fly-casting lessons, and USCG approved life preservers. (Flies will be available for purchase after trip)

CANCELLATIONS

Any cancellations made one week before the day of the guided trip will receive a full refund, or may be rescheduled for a later date. Cancellations due to bad weather are at the guide’s discretion and will receive a full refund or may be rescheduled.

PAYMENT INFO

Remaining payments for guided trips are due at the end of the trip. Cash, check, Venmo, and Paypal are accepted. 20% gratuities are customary*

 

Common Questions

Can I bring my own gear? - Yes! We provide all the gear but you are welcome to bring your own. I recommend 7 or 8wt rods with a floating line and an intermediate sinking line for smallmouth and 10,11, or 12wt rods with intermediate lines for musky.

Do you only do fly fishing trips? - No, I offer spin rods for smallmouth and bait caster outfits for musky trips. If you want to fish either of these options let me know and I will have them on hand for your trip!

Does the guide cover lunch? - Lunch is provided for Full Day trips only. I will go over lunch options after booking is complete. *If you have any food allergies please let me know when booking your trip*

What if I have never fly fished before? - Great! All skill levels are embraced and fly castings lessons are included with every trip.

Can I bring kids? - Yes! Kids of all ages are welcome on guided trips. Be sure to let me know when setting up your trip so I can plan accordingly.

Do you have any recommended accommodations? - The Best Western Plus Kelly Inn and GrandStay in St. Cloud are great options. Otherwise, there are plenty of Airbnb and VRBO options in the area.

What does USCG licensed and insured mean? - I operate with a Captain’s License, First-Aid certification, and Commercial Fishing Insurance to ensure the best fishing experience and safety for my clients.
